Новгородский театр для детей и молодежи «Малый» – участник The International Theatre festival for Children and Young People «Magic bubble» (г. Валмиера, Латвия)
Новгородский театр для детей и молодежи «Малый» принимает участие в Международном театральном фестивале, который состоится с 6 по 12 сентября в городе Валмиера (Латвия).
Организаторы фестиваля – Валмиерский драматический театр и Латышский центр театров для детей и молодежи (АССИТЕЖ). На сцене одного из крупнейших в стране драматических театров театр «Малый» представит сразу два спектакля – премьеру прошлого сезона «Чайка по имени Джонатан Ливингстон» по прозе Ричарда Баха и постановку по легендам Шотландии «Принц и дочь великана» (бумажная сказка). Фестиваль в Валмиере собирает тринадцать театральных спектаклей из Риги, Даугавпилса, Валмиеры, а также столичных театров Литвы и Финляндии. Также в рамках фестиваля состоится международный семинар «Политика в области театров для детей и молодежи», в котором примут участие актеры и режиссеры.
Стоит отметить, что в 2001 году Новгородский театр «Малый» уже становился лауреатом фестиваля в Валмиере за спектакль по поэзии Рудольфа Блауманиса «Бестолковые люди». После своего возвращения с прибалтийского фестиваля театр «Малый» откроет восемнадцатый театральный сезон спектаклем «Чайка по имени Джонатан Ливингстон». В течение сезона театр примет участие еще в нескольких международных театральных фестивалях Европы и России.
